We wish there was more support
for families with young children.
That Kids were Considered
We wish that more restaurants
were designed with kids in mind and that families felt at ease and welcome
when they visited.
We wish that the experience of kids and families were a part of the conversation when designing events, buildings, and infrastructure.
We wish that life with kids could be made a bit easier through design and that it would help us enjoy our time together
even more.
Other Countries Do It So Well
In Switzerland, families can travel on dedicated train cars with children’s books, toys, and open spaces to move and play.
In Spain, retail stores incorporate children’s areas so kids can play or create while their grown-ups shop.
In Denmark, an indoor playground in the Copenhagen airport has a trampoline and play structure so kiddos can get their energy out before a long flight.
We wish we saw more of this in North America.
We believe that design
can change the way
young families experience
life together.
So we’re doing what we can
by giving families a space
where they can feel at ease and tended to.
